Sonar HP 7/16" Male to 3/8" Female UNF Adaptor

The Sonar High Pressure (HP) 7/16 inch Male to 3/8 inch Female UNF adaptor is for when you need to put a high pressure hose that has a 3/8"-24 UNF Male fitting on a regulator that has a 7/16"-20 UNF Female port.

Connect a 3/8" HP hose to a 7/16" HP first stage regulator port.

Most high-pressure hoses are 7/16-inch male and most first stage high-pressure ports are 7/16-inch female. A few brands of first stages use high-pressure ports that are 3/8-inch female, notably very old models from the early days of diving. Thus there are high-pressure hoses with 3/8-inch male ends to fit such regulators. This post adaptor lets you use these non-standard high pressure hoses on regulators with 7/16-inch female ports.

The 7/16"-20 UNF Male end of this HP adaptor screws into a standard HP port on a first stage regulator.

The 3/8"-24 UNF Female end of this adaptor accepts the 3/8"-24 UNF Male end of a non standard HP hose that normally screws into a non standard 3/8" HP port on a first stage regulator.
