The AP Diving 25 kg (55 lb) Lift Bag [LB25] is an open-ended lift bag easily filled from a second stage regulator. It is ideal for lifting edibles and smaller items from the seabed. Popular with skippers as it can be attached to shot weights to make shot recovery much less of an ordeal.
Great for Scallop Diving Attach one of these lift bags to your catch bag. (We'd suggest using a double-ended bolt snap.) As you fill the catch bag with scallops gradually inflate the lift bag so that the catch bag drifts just off the bottom beside you. When you're done, finish inflating the lift bag and send it and your catch bag full of scallops to the surface. Recover the goodies once you've completed your ascent.
The tapered shape prevents air spillage when the lift bag reaches the surface. It also means that it takes up little more room than a standard SMB.
