Backscatter FLIP7 One Filter Kit with Dive Filter for GoPro

The Backscatter FLIP7 One Filter Kit with DIVE Filter for GoPro from Flip Filters is supplied with one red coloured underwater correction filter to help produce more natural looking images when shooting on blue water dives between 6 and 15 metres (20 to 50 feet). The handy flip system allows for easy switching between having no filter, and having the best colour correction for the narrow white balancing band of the GoPro range at these depths.

Please Note: The GoPro Hero 8 has an all new underwater housing that is not compatible with the Flip 7 filters. Backscatter are currently working on updating the Flip lineup, and the new Flip8 will be compatible with the HERO8, 7, 6, 7, and 5.

The DIVE BLUEWATER filter is the best all-around colour correction filter for typical scuba diving. The DIVE filter is optimised for use between 6 and 15 metres (20 to 50 feet), but is better than no filter above and below these depths. SHALLOW and DEEP filters offer even better colour at depths outside this range.

The Flip Filters FLIP7 One Filter package comes with two different spacers and a bracket that allows it to be mounted on all current GoPro models: HERO7, HERO6, HERO5, HERO4, HERO3+, and HERO3, as long as you use either the Standard housing, Dive housing or the Super Suit Housing.

The FLIP7 system is made of robust anodised aluminium, and mounts onto the housing by easy clamp-on attachment. The lenses are incredibly strong so it will be able to withstand the knocks and bumps that dive kit gets.

The Flip Filters FLIP7 One Filter system supports one filter at a time. It comes with a DIVE filter, but SHALLOW, DEEP or GREENWATER filter for different depths and locations are available for purchase separately for you to change to out of the water.

Snap lock a lens or filter with just one finger
The hinged design of the Backscatter FLIP7 offers the ultimate solution for above and below water shooting. Other designs use internal gel filters that require you to break the factory sealed lens and can't be removed from above water shooting. Other press-on filters can be removed, but are easily lost or damaged and frequently require multiple hands to install. Filters on the FLIP7 can be flipped out of the way with just one finger and lock into on/off positions with a positive snap.

Optional SHALLOW and DEEP filters
A series of lenses and filters can be added to the Backscatter FLIP7. Choose from SHALLOW, DEEP, and GREEN WATER filters, as well as a universal 55mm threaded mount, to add any lens or filter to your GoPro HERO3, HERO3+, HERO4, HERO5, HERO6 and HERO7.

Optical Grade Scratch Resistant Material
The Flip Filters FLIP7 filter material is resistant to scratches. It is similar to the optical acrylic used in eyeglasses. Most filter damage occurs during travel to and from the dive site. You'll discover that most accidental scratches will not show up in your videos. Acrylic polish such as Novus can be used to buff out any unsightly scratches.
